A lot of people don’t know how much hard drives can slow you down. Check this great video SSD vs HDD.
This is why I ordered a SSD drive for my wife.

You’ve made me change my mind about the value of SS drives. Especially considering that in the Air, the alternative is a slow, iPod drive, it really looks like it’s worth it.
Lol at the vibration test, btw

I was wondering about the difference with the hard drives. Thanks for the video. I’m a bit disappointed with the hard drive size though. But I guess that is given at its size. That is what external hard drives are for huh?

a no name brand 64gb $1,699.00
128 GB is $3,999.00
The top macbook air is actually a steal..
SSD is pretty new technology and expensive. It will go down over time.

Of course - though given the price I wish there was a 32gB option. I would be fine with that much in a laptop

So, do traditional spinning harddrives get all goofy in zero gravity? And if so then I assume a solid state would not have this problem. Would anyone like to send me into orbit with two Airs to test this out? Lemme know.

This may be a silly question: Is there any sound or is there an issue on my end?
