On November 6th, Jay-Z refused to release his new album “American Gangster” on iTunes because he didn’t like the fact you could buy songs separately instead of the album as a whole. Now he steps down from one of the most well known record labels Def Jam to start a record label with Apple??
According to BoyGeniusReport.com he is, but it’s most likely a hoax.

With more and more attention being given to Amazon perhaps it will become a competitor, in which case both Apple and the record industry will need to change their ways.
