Return Those Crappy Gifts for Something You Really Want!

I’m guilty of keeping bad gifts, but this year I’m taking a stand. I’m returning 40% of my gifts (the unwanted gifts). Yes grandma, I’m returning that sweater I maybe could have worn when I was 16!
According to MSNBC the average person receives nearly 60% Unwanted gifts for the holidays! Suburban Chicago News says 13% of people don’t return gifts, because it’s too much of a hassle. Thats a lot of wasted money!
Return those gifts, whether you have price tags & receipt or not. The chances are you can still get a refund.Stuck with bad gift cards or nonreturnables, there’s always ebay. You can also find great deals on apple gift cards right now.

60% of people receive unwanted gifts? Yeah I believe that. Gift cards, with that, you simply cannot go wrong. As for returning gifts, I don’t think I’ve ever done that. But yes, gift cards, thats the way to go.

You need to do a much better job of letting people know what you want….more subtle hints….or maybe be less subtle!
And who lets grandma pick out clothes for them????

Most of my relatives gave me gift cards, so it worked out perfectly. My family gave me gifts I had picked out. Overall, this Christmas was great! Except no Mac related gifts…always next year!
